SKlation

SKlation is a Dresden based Modern Creative Jazz Trio, consisting of three of saxonies youngest musicians in free improvisation and Modern Jazz.

Their goal is to overcome musical borders to force a new sound of innovation and freedom,

away from any convention, with a strong and unique stile. Members are Helene Winkler,

Henri Reichmann and Vincent Meißner.

They are all studying music at the Saxony Music High School “Landesgymnasium Für Musik Dresden Carl Maria von Weber“ in Dresden. There, they met each other and startet playing and improvising. The three also gained lessons by the „Free Jazz Legend“ Günther „Baby“ Sommer, who encouraged them to force playing in a trio. They released their debut album "Prohlis Underground" in October 2018 on "Luxury Hechts Records".

> ddc\ - a band inspired by the pluralism in contemporary music, creating a unique style by refreshing the old spirit of Funk and Soul, connected with jazzy harmonics, in addition to some fancy electronics and a killing HipHop vibe. This formation is much more than just another jazz trio. It's the future sound of an organic shape wich comes from the darkest rehearsal rooms and concert spaces. Popping up from the underground scene, where the band was playing for over one year now, ddc\ is now releasing their first official album on Dresden based Jazz and HipHop label "Luxury Hechts" in summer 2019. Featuring three open minded guys from the youngest scene in improvised music, ddc\ is the next logical step in jazz nowadays. <

Searching for Home

Originally formed by two drummers in 2016, Searching For Home has developed into a collective featuring nine of Saxony’s most talented jazz and fusion newcomers. The different members are also part of various other ensembles and projects like the Youth Jazz Orchestra of Saxony, the Dresden Bigband, the School-Jam winning band 'Funk Fragment' or the large ensemble of Paul Peuker and Clemens Christian Pötzsch 'Three Atmospheres'. Together they combine influences of jazz, fusion, pop, soul and groove, creating an outstanding sound. Strong melodies and vocals alternate with groovy instrumental and solo parts. Searching For Home’s aim is to create pop music with much more tension and variety than the usual mainstream. You can hear this idea especially on the bands upcoming record 'Let yourself break', which will be released in July 2019 on Luxury Hechts.
